The Global Event Risk Index recomputes every fifteen minutes from seven official hazard feeds. Watching that is a job. Pick a number, and we will email you the one time it gets crossed.
Reading right now
What an alert is not. It is not a prediction, and it is not an instruction to do
anything. The index is a reading of what seven agencies are measuring right now. A threshold
crossing means those readings moved, and the email will say which feed moved and link you to the
source. Prophecy dates are tracked separately on the calendar and are
never an input to this number.
What we keep. Your email address, your threshold, and whether you want jump
alerts. That is the whole record. No name, no ZIP code, and never your family plan, which stays
in your browser and is never uploaded. See privacy.
